A documentary short film by Eric Wolfinger
Blessed By Grace is an intimate documentary portrait of Chef Lisa Dahl, set against the majestic red rocks of Sedona. Directed by James Beard Award-winning photographer and filmmaker Eric Wolfinger, the film traces her extraordinary journey from personal tragedy to one of the most thriving culinary careers in the American southwest.
The documentary explores the grief that brought Lisa to Sedona in the early 1990s, the healing she found in the land and in cooking, and the quiet spiritual foundation that underpins every plate she sends to a table. It is a meditation on loss, recovery, and the feeding of the soul.
The film premiered at the Sedona International Film Festival in 2025 to standing ovations and has since been screened at select culinary and independent film events across the country.
